1. What we collect
When you order from DoonBlooms — through the website, by phone, or via a custom brief — we keep only what's needed to fulfil and follow up on the order:
- Name, phone number, and email address provided at checkout
- The sender and recipient addresses for delivery
- Your order history and saved addresses, so re-ordering is quick
- Payment confirmation from our gateway (we never see or store full card details)
- Basic device and browser information used to keep the site fast and to spot fraud
2. How we use it
- To prepare, dispatch, and follow up on your orders
- To send order confirmations and delivery updates over email and SMS
- To answer questions from you or your recipient on the day of delivery
- To improve the website, the catalogue, and the way we package gifts
- To send the occasional festival or seasonal note — only after you've opted in
3. Who we share with
We do not sell your data. The only outside parties who see any part of it are:
- Our delivery partners — for the delivery address and recipient phone only
- Our payment gateway — for completing your transaction
- Our email/SMS provider — for order confirmations and updates
Each of these is bound by data-handling agreements and uses your information only for the task assigned.
4. Keeping things safe
The site runs over HTTPS, payments are tokenised through the gateway, and access to our admin dashboard is restricted to a small team using two-factor authentication. We don't claim to be unhackable — no one honest does — but we take it seriously, and we'll write to you promptly in the unlikely event something goes wrong.
5. Your choices
- Ask to see the data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything that's wrong
- Ask us to delete your account and the data tied to it
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any of our emails
6. Cookies
We use a small set of cookies to keep your cart, to remember your delivery pincode, and to measure which pages people read. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising.
